William P. "Billy" Glass

Managing Partner/President

Billy Glass has been involved in the commercial real estate business for more than 40 years. Mr. Glass began his career with Hank Dickerson & Company, a Dallas-based, commercial real estate brokerage and development company, where he received extensive training in all facets of the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Glass quickly became one of the firm’s sales leaders and was first exposed to the utilization and structure of real estate partnerships. In the fall of 1983, Mr. Glass started his own commercial real estate company, raising capital for income-producing, commercial real estate projects, as well as land development. He completed 60 real estate-related joint ventures and raised in excess of $30,000,000 before selling the firm in 1989 to a publicly traded company based in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1990, Mr. Glass began working as an External Wholesaler and Consultant, raising equity and debt capital for business enterprises and commercial real estate developments located throughout the United States. Between 1990 and 2006, Mr. Glass raised in excess of $250,000,000 through the broker dealer community.

 

In 2006, Gentry Mills Consulting, LLC, originally formed in 1998, was renamed Gentry Mills Capital LLC. Mr. Glass has led the GMC Team in raising almost a quarter of a billion dollars for GMC investment offerings. Mr. Glass served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics of Texas, as well as currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for Bill Glass - Behind the Walls Prison Ministries. Mr. Glass attended Baylor University and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. He and his wife, Laura, live in Southlake, Texas and have three grown children and three grandchildren.

Joshua P. "Josh" Glass

Vice President

Josh Glass joined Gentry Mills Capital in March 2015 after working five years with the nationally known, non-profit organization, Behind the Walls Prison Ministries, where he assisted the founder in raising funds from various high net worth individuals and corporate sponsors. In addition to serving as the External Wholesaler for Gentry Mills Capital, he is also responsible for the due diligence process for each offering and provides all due diligence information to Broker Dealers in order to acquire a Soliciting Dealer Agreement. Mr. Glass also oversees the CRM tool and Investor Management software used by Gentry Mills Capital to ensure all advisor and investor information is secure and in good order.

Mr. Glass is on the Board of Directors of the Bill Glass–Behind the Wall Prison Ministries and is a graduate of Baylor University. Mr. Glass resides in Argyle, Texas with his wife, Heather, and three children.

Chief Financial Officer

Billy Bob Messer joined Gentry Mills Capital as Chief Financial Officer after spending ten years in public accounting, providing audit and consulting services to various clients ranging from some of the largest companies in the world to local, small-to-medium sized entities. Since leaving public accounting, Billy Bob has assisted founder-backed companies in professionalizing their finance departments and has helped raise over $70 million in capital financing. Although most of his experience focused on high-growth technology companies, Billy Bob served clients in a wide range of industries including real estate, construction, and manufacturing. Billy Bob graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance. He holds an active CPA license and is a member of the AICPA.

Mr. Messer resides in Carrollton, Texas with his wife, Amanda, and their two children.

Ashley Biard

Marketing & Communications

Ashley Biard joined Gentry Mills Capital as a member of both the Sales team and the Marketing and Communications team after spending over a decade in the political arena, managing campaigns, developing messaging, and raising funds from various high net worth individuals and organizations. Ms. Biard develops and oversees all of Gentry Mills Capital's marketing tools in order to communicate effectively with advisors within the Broker Dealer and RIA communities, as well as investors. She also serves as a member of the Sales team, building and maintaining relationships with financial advisors and investors. 

Ms. Biard is a graduate of Baylor University where she studied Political Science. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and three children.

Donna Bradle

Director of Investor Relations

Donna Bradle joined Gentry Mills Capital after spending over 20 years in Marketing and Customer Relations. As Director of Investor Relations, Ms. Bradle assists investors and financial advisors with investment procedures, reporting, and documentation, overseeing all the processes pertaining to those areas. 

Ms. Bradle attended Mississippi State University where she studied marketing. She and her husband, Eric, live in Grapevine and have two grown children.

Karen Daly

Operations Administrator

Karen Daly joined the Gentry Mills Capital team as Operations Administrator after a diverse career in information technology, customer service, and financial services. She brings with her years of experience pertaining to administration, reporting, and investor relations. Ms. Daly manages the day-to-day operations of the Gentry Mills Capital office, overseeing various areas and providing support to all departments.

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Ms. Daly studied Business Administration. She and her husband, Pete, live in Southlake and have two grown children.

Laura Glass

Accounting Associate

Laura Glass has served in many capacities at Gentry Mills Capital since the inception of the firm in 2006. In her current role as Accounting Associate, Ms. Glass oversees accounts payable and the general day-to-day accounting needs of the company. She also manages the Human Relations Department, aiding in the hiring process and administration of employee benefits. 

Ms. Glass attended Baylor University and studied Nursing. She and her husband, Billy, live in Southlake and have three grown children and three grandchildren.

Robert S. "Scott" Palmer

Acquisition Partner

Scott Palmer, Gentry Mills Capital’s Acquisition Partner, began his career as a real estate salesman for Hank Dickerson and Company then became Mr. Dickerson’s partner in an entity focusing on opportunistic real estate investments until Mr. Dickerson’s death in 1996. Mr. Palmer then spent nine years at Macfarlan Real Estate Services, specializing in opportunistic acquisitions while also serving on Macfarlan’s Investment Committee. Mr. Palmer left Macfarlan in July of 2006 to form Gentry Mills Capital with Mr. Glass where his focus is creating value through the innovative structure of real state acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Palmer attended the University of Texas and is a Dallas native where he lives with his wife, Becky, and two daughters.
